Was wanting to set up some a couple games that friends could play over the internet, can anyone recommend a good headset that we can use to talk back and forth and a good program that runs in the background that controls talking...
I think I heard someone say a program called Ventrillo or something like that was good, but that was a few years ago...
Thanks,
rhuala

Thanks Stoneyguy, you have this pair? How does the 360 sound work, is it gimiky or actually useful... sounds gimicky too me.... but then I'm a pessimist...
I've read a review were a user said it felt like it was pinching his ear after about 45mins, how's it feel to you?
Thanks,
rhuala

lol thats exactly the two things i use :D
def go with these two. my headphones are very comfortable. the PC160's are comfortable but the smaller models do feel like they pinch your ear after a while.
Yes, I also recommend Ventrilo or Teamspeak. I've been using both for years.

Don't expect the 360 surround to be worth a damn for gaming, but it does help when listening to music.

I definitely recommend those! ;) They're great for gaming, be it pc or xbox360 and great for watching movies! You do need a dolby digital certified sound card though, for best sound. I swear GoW never sounded better! :) For movies and games these absolutely blow away the Sennheiser HD555, while they totally suck for music. And they even come with a top-quality microphone that works with the xbox360 as well as with your computer. In other words they rule! :)
And here's a little review:

If you use teamspeak, you have to use TeamSpeak Overaly, aka TSO
