i have this mem Corsair TWINX2048 4400 and a a8n32-sli do i set my mem to limit 250 to get full speed or do i keep it same speed as fsb? i can run it at 2700 cpu (x2 4800) and mem 270 or is this wrong??

need to no if am doing somthing wrong on overclock

You should start by posting your complete pc specs,as well as throw them into your sig,as it makes it easier to get help on a forum like this... ;)

You need make sure your memory is running 1:1 ratio and set your cpu to 275 and a mutipler at 10 to run 2.75gigs or evry how high you can overclock ,if you can just do 2.7gigs then set your cpu at 270 with a mutipler of 10 and make sure your memory is set at 1:1 ratio or at 200.

i did try that but at 12x system crashed n b2142 will 10x be more stable?

Well if you are using a mutliplier of 12x + 275MHz FSB then your CPU will be running at 3300MHz which is 900MHz overclock you will not get that on air or even water cooling.
