Yeah - they look very good indeed and run pretty nicely w/4xFSAA & 8xAF on a 9700 Pro.

The monkey demo is definitely the most impressive that ATI has yet released. It's much better looking than Futuremark's "mother nature" demo and runs at least twice as fast.

Is that, unlike the NVidia Pixie, it has a fully rendered environment as well. NVidia's pixie danced around on a flat texture. I'm very impressed with that chimp demo!

well i do see the logic in that but unfortnatly i haven't even found a video of it, let alone the demo itself that i can watch in real time. until that point, i stand by my openion this one takes the cake. :afro:

Yeah... atleast ATI make their demos available for download. nVidia never even released that Final Fantasy demo they did.

Great Demo indeed.
Runs silky smooth on my 9700..not a stutter to be had even when zooming and panning the camera.

This is my new favorite ATI demo.

I was visually undressing the chimp the whole time... when I zoomed in I imagined it was dawn with more rendered parts :D

btw... the background (right @ the back) is static... the trees/leaves/chimp/water and other stuff are rendered on top of that... all you have to do is look @ the wire frame for that...

well sure there is a skybox with a few trees on it, but i belive the point was that there is a lot more polygons being rendered than just the main models.
