I just reinstalled Geoforms because I can actually run it at decent settings with my 7800 Ultra... however, i have this problem, when it activates through the screensaver, it gets a significant drop in performance... from about 20 fps to 12fps... Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

The same things happens when i lower the settings, but it scales a bit better, only 1/3 performance hit, from 30 fps to 20fps, still an odd thing though, i'm wondering if anyone knows any fixes for it

I don't use it as a screensaver but just running it in general with the 8800s, it performs very well. I'm a little surprised you're getting fairly good performance with the 7800s. It use to crawl for me.

It's not great performance, but it's alot better than what my 6800 GT did.... I can run it on like 1280x800 and haev it in the 20s.... but once it comes as a screensaver it hits 12 fps.... which really makes it look laggy... not too bad at 20 though

It's kind of a bummer, i have to drop it to 960x600 to get it to look good in 16:9 widescreen... and run good, 20 fps while being used as a screensaver, and 30 when launched manually

I'm getting the same performance both ways although I'm using the screensaver "preview" function to test the screensaver mode (haven't let it start automatically).

Maybe it's my driver version... I really want to get a on a new set of drivers, I'm having problems with the card getting erros in ATI tool... I really don't think it's a fault of the cards because in anything else it's great, and hasn't had a hint of instability.

I'd use it as a screensaver but it wont work on both LCD's at the same time.Performance is great at 1680x1050.
