UT Demo

I have the proper Nvidia kernel and glx installed for my stock Mandrake 9.0 kernal.
I installed the UT Demo 248 and when attempting to run it I get these messages:

cp: Cannot stat '/home/marc/.utconf':No such file or directory
Can't find file or package 'GlideDrv'
aborted

How do I fix this?
Do I have install Glide or did I misconfigure something?

The demo only supports Glide. Shell out $10 for the full version, it's well worth it even now.
