It was a great fight last night(albeit slow). In the end, Tito got his ass whooped!

Tito actually won back my respect in this fight, for taking a chuck pounding and getting back up. He had quite a good second round and could have made something of the fight, but it was over when he went fetal on the floor. He could have gotten up and carried the fight on, if he had sorted his guard. Proof chuck has the psychological edge.

If you had ever been in a fight IN YOUR LIFE, you would know its not as simple as just "getting up and carrying on with the fight". Going "fetal" was probably the BEST thing Tito could have done in that situation. If Tito would have even attempted to do anything while in that position, he would have been seriously injured. Sometimes you just have to guard yourself. its the smart thing to do. They are both very seasoned and trained fighters. They both did their very best. Nobody could have done better in their situations. Chuck was the better fighter, the end.

I like the UFC too.

Yes Chuck is one of my favorite fighters. I like and respect Tito. I also respect Diego Sanchez quite a bit as a fighter. I am hoping Michael Bisping blows up as well. Another fav is the current welterwight champ, Georges St. Pierre. I am also very excited about Cro-Cop being recruited. He rocks. I've seen Cro-Cop kick guys and knock all the sweat off their body :p

Chuck gets a bad rep as not being well rounded when he is actually a great wrestler. At one time his jujitsu was non existent and he has fixed that a while ago. He admits he likes to strike and learned the jujitsu to defend against it and get to his feet quickly. Everyone in MMA ought to know Brazilian Jiu-jitsu to properly defend against it.
