The cheapest I've seen this monitor $300 shipped. Mine may not be "brand new" but it is guaranteed to work, guaranteed no dead pixels.

Plus, if you research the monitor, you'll find that most models after made after August 2006 (possibly even a bit earlier) have some sort of malfunction where they flicker constantly via DVI...Samsung has no answer for this. Mine is not from that batch (it's from April 2006) and does not suffer this problem.
