Here's the low-down on the rig.

A8n32-sli
Amd x2-3800 Cpu
4-sata drives
2 dvd-rw's
8 usb being used
1-floppy
2-7900gt's SLI
X-Fi platinum
2-1gb twinx2048-3500llpro
3-80mm case fans

The owner has an Antec NeoHe 550 watt, and after the windows splash screen it blackscreens.Remove a video card and unplug the dvd burners and it works well on the single card.We are looking for around 750 watts now I would guess. Some feedback soon would be appreciated so we can get this thing ready for the weekends festivities....ie online fragfests:D

550W should be enough, not sure but maybe it's the motherboard causing problems ...

If I were to buy a power supply over again. I'd get the Seasonic 600. Or a Hiper PSU. I heard they're pretty efficient and they certainly are badass looking. Get pc power and cooling if money is no object.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153038 This one says 12v rails have 18a.Does anyone have feedback on this P/S? It looks like it will do the job,but so did the other:) I mean this guy has 4 sata's and he likes to hook up 3-4 externals as well.I'm not sure but usb devices prolly suck up power too.I have 1 more to look at http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2776974&CatId=2534 This one says 12v rails are 12a,thats not enough is it? If anyone has input on this one tell me,I'd like to order soon.

That OCZ has 15a per 12v, not 12.

For the money you'd be paying for either one of those you'd be better off going with a better quality PSU like the PCP&C Silencer 750W or Silverstone ST85ZF Zeus.

Corsair HX620 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817139002

It's actually made by Seasonic, one of the best manufacturers in the industry, and its modular! Extremely quiet, too.

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2597971&CatId=2535 This is the one I ordered,it should work with all his extra's added on.It has 20a on the 12v rails.BFG video cards are decent quality so why not try a P/S?
