some took this as Gates' remark to Sony, i looked at it more like, yes we know sony is a complete htpc and that's why we're adding IPTV and other services.

and he talks briefly about how vista/360/zune will interact, while a rather dumb example, he gives a basic idea

Gates also thinks the Wii is just a fad.

The Mercury News also asked Gates how he felt about the Nintendo Wii, but as it turns out Bill doesn't have much to say on the subject. He stated that to his mind Sony was always the direct competitor, and that without next-gen graphics the novelty of Wii's unique controller would probably wear off soon.

I'm really looking forward to IPTV on 360. The functionality is way better than my crappy Comcast HD receiver.

the problem is the service support... I dont know any in sweden that offers IPTV :(
MS releases many great things for its x360 but it seems its only aimed at USA...
We in europe still dont have the videos service which sux....

I thought that was how it worked but I wasn't sure. So it has to be like a service or package for your HD provider to enable.

I didn't know UK didn't have the movie downloads, that sucks.

i thought you just had to sign-up as an american account and you would have access to our shows, not sure how that would work with european tv shows.
