OMG guys I was trying to install these drivers but I forgot that it was using XP... so it didn't work and I deleted my only copy!!!1

I would wait for January 26th. If you could wait so far then a week or so won't make difference. Also, Creative has to release their final drivers for SB. Remember that Nvidia drivers need pass WHQL lab, before it hits public. I bet by the end of next week the drivers will be completed, and probably in Microsoft lab on Monday and then probably released on Friday. Next Monday is Vista lunch...

Driver 97.92 for XP just WHQ'd yesterday. This is a Vista thread. What are you complaining about?

And, does it make any sense at all that a Vista driver will have the same release number as an XP driver? Further, does it make sense that a Vista 8xxx support driver will have the same release number as an XP driver?

You have no reason at all to complain since a very good XP driver was just WHQ'd yesterday, and even less to question my ability to understand simple things.

Go troll an XP thread.
