My first Evga 8800GTS died within 20 minutes of getting it, and my replacement finally came in today!wooohoo!
Before placing it in the case, I took off the little evga sticker covering up the nvidia sticker on the fan...on
the last card, it glued off and jammed up the fan a bit and made some noise.
Oh yeah well, the system:

Shuttle SN25P
AMD A64 4000+ @2.76ghz
2GB Ram

Yes Yes, it fits in a shuttle. The PSU powers it just fine even when both the card and the CPU are decently overclocked.
I know my system won't let me get the full potential of the card, but whatever, I wanted it and I bought it hehe.
I replaced a 7900GT which was still a very capable card.

Temperature with stock speed was a tad high, so I churned up the VC fan to 100 and my card idles at 60-63 at the current speed.
I pulled a pretty good O/C out of this card I think. 648 core/1772mem(936X2). I haven't tried to push past that, it seems like there's still headroom as I haven't ran into any problems at all yet, and temperature's still reasonable...but I think I'll stop here for now. My stock reading was 513mhz/792....
I thought these were 500/800 stock?

Did a few tests only on Fear to see my CPU/LCD limitations (1280x1024max res). I don't have 3dmark right now, and
I'm in Iraq, so I won't be downloading it either@5k a sec lol. Besides I'm not a fan of that...I test in the games I play.

16x AF/16X AA (in control panel, but if you don't have SLI it defaults to 8x AA max I believe, no?)
Well here are some numbers I pulled testing Fear with everything maxed(soft shadows off)@1280x960:

Stock(513/792) in FPS Built in Test:

MIN 35
AVG 66
MAX 148

with AA on "Q" quality mode:

MIN 19
AVG 38
MAX 95

O/C 567/864

MIN 37
AVG 75
MAX 159

O/C 600/864

MIN 39
AVG 75
MAX 171

O/C 600/864 and also an extra 60mhz to the CPU( 2.82GHZ)
MIN 37
AVG 74
MAX 177
(Just did this test to fool around- everything still stable as a rock)

O/C 620/864 CPU back to 2.76 for the rest of the runs

MIN 39
AVG 75
MAX 171
(a bit weird, exactly the same?)

O/C 640/930
MIN 41
AVG 80
MAX 186
guess it's not maxed out(limited-yes of course) by the CPU just yet at this point

I think I'll stop there as far as O/C is concerned though. My Idle temp is 60-63c and load tops out at 70-74, give
or take 2 points at the most. Or maybe I'll just go back down to stock, as far as I can remember, the overall temperature difference
has been 3-5 degrees or so.
All in all I am pleased with the card, and more so with my Shuttle today.
I really don't feel like doing anymore tests, so I'll do what I've spent the money on the card for: play games!
See ya'll in a few days!:captnkill:

EDIT: I messed around with Rivatuner and tried underclocking my card for regular 2d windows browsing...now Idle is 56-59. Card is running at 396/684 in 2d. Dunno if the underclock had anything to do with the temp, but it's consistently cooler now just for regular windows browsing and/or idling.
