With the 97.44 I was getting 14,256 in 3DMark06 and with the 97.92 I am getting 15,453,in 3Dmark05 I was getting 22221 and now 23,567 and in 3Dmark03 I was getting 51,005 and now I get 60,016,the only other thing I did was change from a Evga 680i SLI to a ASUS 650i SLI,but I am running them at the same speed.

Most asus boards overclock your stuff without telling you so that they get better reviews in media - google it if you want.

Why care about the 3dmarks anyway? Even if the new drivers lowered my 3dmark score if they run my games better with less bug I couldn't care less.

Thats why I use 97.92 with Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, the drivers just work better.

It would be nice if more folks used your logic.

I agree 100%

It also runs my games better ,in most cases if the benchmarks are higher in all of them ,then in games it will also have benifits, anyone can say why care about benchmarks ,which is true ,but it is also true that a lot of people that don't know much about video cards goes by these benchmarks when buying a card.I just wanted to know if these drivers are that good ,And yes ASUS increases some of there setting to make them look better, but in most cases you can disable them such as the peg link ,but this board does not even have that, but I doubt that it would be as much as I am seeing ,most of the time it is only by 1 to 3 percent not by 8 to 15 percent. All I was asking were people getting hiher scores in there benchmarks with the 97.92 drivers compared to the older ones, not that benchmarks does'nt mean nothing.

This could also be explained if you had any global quality settings that got reset by the driver update.

It was with a different motherboard,so it had a clean install and the only driver I used was the new 97.92
