Whats the difference between the "9700pro tx" version and the 9700pro?

It is an even lower clocked version than the 9700 vanilla. It is meant for OEMs only.
You will find it in Dell computers. That is how they can offer their systems with the 9700 for such a competitive price.
I think they are clocked at 250/250 where the regular ones are 275/275 and the pro is 325/310
