I'm having trouble with the Solaris drivers on my machine. However, they work when running Linux on the same machine. From 'modinfo', I can see the kernel driver gets loaded.
Trying to start X11 fails with the error
(EE) NVIDIA(0): DMA channel mapping failed: 0x6
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting ***
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to allocate DMA push buffer
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting ***
The kernel driver logs the following errors in /var/adm/messages
Jan 17 02:28:06 xerxes nvidia: [ID 702911 kern.notice] NOTICE: NVRM: nv_devmap: devmap_devmem_setup() failed (-1)
Jan 17 02:28:06 xerxes nvidia: [ID 702911 kern.notice] NOTICE: NVRM: nv_segmap: ddi_devmap_segmap() failed (6)
Any clues why the drivers fail to start? nvidia-SunOS-bug-report.sh report is attached.
