Flash videos aren't running correctly.

I've installed and reinstalled flash player 3 times now. When I start up a video, it will play the first few seconds then freeze. When I restart my comp, it fixes the problem, but only for a while. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. :)

I have the same problem:

Dell latitude c810 with Geforce2 Go 32mb DDR
Kubuntu 6.10. installed nvidia driver using Automatix
Swiftfox (firefox) with java and flash 9

I'll start a video on youtube or video.google.com and it'll run smoothly with 50% cpu usage for a little while then it gets all choppy, the sound is effected and my cpu usage goes to 97%. I then looked at a java game, and it had a very slow refresh rate.

What's going on?

OH, and when the video goes from smooth to choppy is when the fan on my laptop turns on. Go figure. Please, go figure :).
