I think Jacob is going to win due to bias, hehe.

Aesthetics I would hope. If not then it would come down to who has the most money. :(

2 of the pc's have monumental cpu power compared to the rest though, in the form of more cpu's.

I know that, but that was just my opinion on how you should vote. Thats at least how my vote was chosen.

OK, I didn't vote on myself. I like XION's water cooling setup. Clean and neat. Who to choose...

Hmm, would have been nice to give a 1-10 score on each, so that a weighted score was given. Kind of like what you can do here (http://www.techpowerup.com/gallery/) Hard to just pick one. Eenie, meenie, miny, mo....

I voted for jAkUp he has a nice rig. I would have voted for venturi but I don't think he has made any updates to his system for a time. Plus as you say he does not need the money :captnkill:

Hey, please note that I have new shots for the contest (didn't know it was starting yet). I put them up in the Dark Forces thread and the original contest thread. I PM'd Mike to please link to them.

Gotta go with Jakup here. A nice combined water/air solution with SERIOUS attention to detail. (Didn't get my vote for pure water because the 8800's weren't WC)

They are all kick ass rig's, but I’m with Lazaredz on this one also. Jakup did a excellent job on his computer. Everything from choices of component's to aesthetics won my vote. Nice job Jakup!

As I said before.

There is a beauty in many of these rigs that take components and make them exceed the sum of their parts.

I did not watercool my current rig, but I feel the watercool rigs are indeed a greater effort. The winner should reflect the asthetics of the effort, not sheer performance. You think wiring and cableing is tough on an air cooled box - watercooling ads a whole new layer.

Anyhow I suggest that the choice be made on more than just performance. I casted my vote on the box that I thought was the greatest labor of love. (no, I'm not saying which one).

Best of luck to the competitors.

To be noted:

The boxes in this thread are all amazing, some set new standards. It would have been interesting if Vista had come out 2 months ago and how it would have shaped some of the designs.

Ciao

i voted also for HeavyH20.

- clean wiring
- nice ram cooler
- lcd display
- black stacker 830 with nvidia logo FTW

:captnkill:
Yeah, HeavyH2O FTW!:captnkill: Jakup came in as a close second(but he already has such a nice job so he doesn't need the money)! ;)

Wow here are so many contestants to decide who to vote. There are many black rigs not my type. I looked at each contestant's rig, I like jakup, agentkay, venturi, lee63, muppet and heavyH20 rigs so I decided to voted muppet because his clean rig catched my eye. :)

Oh man Heavyh2o is dominating.

Wnen I first saw this thread, I thought jakup would dominate for sure.

slawter has the best imo.
nothing is sexier than a creative x fi elite sandwiched between 2 8800gtx's
the things that seperated it from the rest was the awesome soundcard, speakers, and the cpu, and its hard to believe that it came down to that, but everyone's pc was just pretty much equally the best in every other category.

I went w/ Sabersix. His rig is a little out there, and I like that. Phase is of course awesome, and I like the triple-rad and frosted blue fans on the top of his case. Goes really well w/ the painting on the side.
