/me casts Resurrect.
So all you quad-core users, post your overclocking results and techniques here!
I've got a Kensfield ES Q6600 Rev B0, Stepping 4 (oh yeah, the unlocked version!) and my 24x7 OC is 11x266 for 2934. I can game at 3300 (11x300) but I have odd issues with rebooting and can't pass a 4-core Prime95 Torture Test.
Since I installed this ThermalRight Ultra120, my temps went from 54/71 idle/load down to 34/50 at my current OC.

Here we go, thanks for the thread and the sticky :)
Well I lowered the clock to 3.20GHz for now. 3.47GHz was stable and all but very hot. I'm gonna order a Freezone as soon as they're available here. With the Freezone I'm gonna use 3.47GHz again or maybe even higher...

Thanks, highly appreciated. 10x333MHz would be a good OC until I get a Freezone.

w00t, the Freezone is here (one week from NY to Switzerland). Gonna install it tomorrow. My goal is 3.47GHz 24/7 (gaming) and maybe 3.73GHz as my bench clock.
Heavy, was your QX6700 at 3.47GHz Quad-Prime stable?

What do you need w/ 3 8800GTX's?

It's for another PC. Parts are alway in flux.

Yes, prime stable, Orthos, or anything I threw at it. It was completely solid at 3.47.
My only tip is to tilt the system to the open side to make sure the pump primes correctly. Otherwise, it was a little noisy until I did that for a couple of minutes.

I'm really looking forward to the Enermax DXX 1000W, it's already out but not available here. My PC P&C is simply too loud.
The Silverstone 850W is also very good, XION likes it a lot :)

Yep, the Silverstone Zeus 850W is excellent. It runs my GTX's just fine. I'd recommend at least an 800W'er, and I'd recommend a name brand like Silverstone, PCPower&Cooling, Enermax, or Zippy.

my volts are
12v = 11.65
5v = 4.9
3.3v = 3.1
with the thermaltake 700watt

you can use crystalmark 09 too
it uses the 4 cores all together
some scores are 10 times higher as my A64@2.7Ghz

I can bench and play at 3466mhz (13*266mhz) with no problems. Dunno how it'll perform with serious stability and stress testing, and I don't really care. Usually it is clocked 2400mhz or stock 2660mhz, as I fail to notice any difference when overclocked (playing games and what not, but from benching it is obvious there are differences).

Do you already have a PCI-E PhysX? Or how can you use a X-FI, PPU and GTX SLI?
3.46GHz is game stable for me too but it gets too hot on air.

No I don't. I have to take out one of the 8800 GTX cards or the X-Fi. The 680i reference layout is annoying.

Ok, is 340 your max FSB? At least it does 333MHz now.
Hopefully my RMA will start next week ;)
