HELP! Laptop Decision

I need help deciding on a laptop for business and minor play!

Programs on the laptop will be:
Photoshop cs2
Illustrator
Acrobat
Dreamweaver
MS Office
I would like a media center: I-tunes 1000ís of songs

I need a screen size under 15 and larger then 12
And donít really want to spend more than $1,600

Brands I like: Alienware, Dell (XPS ONLY), SONY Vaio. Other suggestions please

Anyway just open to opinions in what you guys would choose the best laptop that has (power and is pleasing to the eye)

Also vista will be on the laptop so I would think 2GB is a must!

Thinkpad T60, there is a slight premium but it is worth it.

Don't get any Compal/Asus/Sager if you value battery life.

Huh? With average use I can get about 3 hours out of mine.

Out of my T60 I can get 5 hours, and if I turn down the brightness I can hit 6.

3 Hours isn't enough.
