Dont know if you guys know but Aussie open is now in progress. Just interested if anyone here watches it. I know I do. I dont think tennis players are respected enough for their wonderful physical and mental skills. Could be cool to hear bout people's fav players or any ideas. Thanks.

On the women's side, I usually pull for Hingis and Sharapova. On the men's side, I pull for Blake and Roddick.

I haven't seen any of the Australian Open yet though. Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch Sharapova play tonight. The timeslot for it isn't very convenient so that's why I've missed most of it so far. Although, I guess I could record it...

Been rooting for Federer for the past 5 years. Used to watch him every year at the Nasdaq100 in Key Biscayne (before he became famous).

Love watching tennis :) The Aussie open is usually fun.

Yea Fed is a genious huh? some of the shots he pulls off i dont believe what i see. Gonzo is doing real well now, beat Nadal. Glad to c him do well. I am sure his forhand is a bit bigger then mine but just gotta practise heh :D I love all guys that have one handed backhand (as do I), Blake, Gonzo, Fed, Moya

Don't know much about tennis but I watch Sharapova and this other woman play last night. Sharapova dominated but collected a lot of double faults as well.

Still very early but Serena Williams came out the gate strong in the first few points of the match.

Yeah, she cruised through the first set.

Omfg, Serena Williams pwned that match. Great win for her. Came in unranked, which doesn't mean anything, then took out Sharipova.

Sharipova played a very crappy game and Serena capitalized on it.

It's over? Geez, I watched a movie for a while thinking I'd catch the end of the match and it's over already? Wow, did Serena win in 2?

Edit: Nevermind, just checked ESPN. 6-1, 6-2. That's surprising.

Kinda surprising that it didn't last long but Serena has been looking good in the tournament and when she's healthy can give any player a run for their money.

Unranked to number 14 in one tournament, damn.
