I'll make this brief. At home, my laptop gets fine connection speeds, and streaming content loads quickly. In college, however, my laptop's speeds for streaming things are horrible. I've done port scanning and apparently every port (except 81 I think) are closed. So in order to load a 10 minute clip on youtube, I have to wait hours. At home, I could just hit play and it would load faster than it played. However, what's funny is that I don't think it's necessarily the connection here, because my friends load videos from youtube VERY quickly and all of their streaming content works fine. Any ideas?
