Yeah it turned out to be a very good game.
I hope the Super Bowl is down to the wire too.

I'm back! AMAZING! I watched it over at a friend's house on 1080i-goodness. I jumped at one point and busted up three of my knuckles on his ceiling! So awesome, so happy for Dungy, Manning, this city. Woohooo!!!!:headbang:

I'm not a huge Colts fan, but I will be rooting for them in the Bowl. I am so happy for Dungy, he is a great guy who has gone through alot the last few years (his son).
Clay, way to be a fan of a winning team!!! I unfortunately, am a Redskins fan, and have been for 20 years...can you imagine? A Redskins fan....Jeez...For people who talk of being owned, we get OWNED EVERY YEAR...Damit all... :thumbdwn:

Bullsht. Saints had the #1 offense in the league, best year Brees has ever had in his career, and rookie sensations Bush and Colsten. Many of their players say that it ain't no joke when it comes to the "connection" they feel with the community and how it motivates them. Remember that all the analysts predicted Saints to defeat the Bears.
Again, how is Drew Brees completing a pass going to get houses built or lower the murder rate? You know that the Saints owner is from San Antonio and is looking to move the team there, right?
Saints also lost 5 games to teams that were under .500. Their linebacking core is about the only decent thing on their defense. Their secondary is/was absolutely awful and the Bears gameplan was ideal to take advantage of those weaknesses.

Been a patriots fan since 76 so I am not a front running hippie, but your bitterness towards the Patriots makes me feel better on this sad day because that means we still own you.(nana2)
Congratulations colts fans your team was the better team and deserved the win. As you know we will meet again...

Extremely glad that the Patriots lost last night. If they would've won, I probably would not plan on watching the Super Bowl this year. This year's SB should be really good. Congrats to my boy Peyton from UT!!!!

Curious.
Why is everyone so glad to see the Patriots lose if you aren't a Colt fan?

If the Saints made it into the Super Bowl, you don't think our government and the entire country would be thinking about Katrina again? Images and soundbytes of NFL players helping the New Orleans community to rebuild? If you don't think what the Saints have accomplised this year has helped the cause, you've been smoking too much weed. The Saints were capable of beating any team in the league with the way they were playing in the second half of the season.

mainly because of the pats fanboys, not ppl like blackcat who have been pats fans through thick and thin, the pats fans that ever since they won their first superbowl in 2001 have hopped aboard the pats bandwagon and spread their crap when they are just front runners. it's nice that atleast 2 of the past 7 seasons we've been able to shove this crap down their front running throats, and it was even nicer that way the colts cameback and beat them after losing to them previously. it's not that i hate the pats, bellichek(sp?) is a genius, but i'm no fan of over-hyped brady either.

Dungy spoke highly of Belichick and what he said to Dungy after the game. Class act with how Pats shared their congratulations with Manning, etc. Just a great way to handle one of the greatest games of all time.
Bring on the Bears! :)

Take nothing from Tom Brady he is a great QB. He doesn't really have any good receivers anymore though. They should of never let Deon Branch go. Reche Cardwell kinda sucks, he had that wide open drop in the end zone during the game as well.

I've been a Saints and Pats fan for the last couple decades. I was so close to having my dream Super Bowl. :(
I hope the Colts pull out the victory. They have quite a few Louisiana boys on their team.
Yeah they do. Manning, Addai, and Wayne to name a few.

Bears fan all my life...this is insane...and awesome..hope the games a blast
Just under two weeks away. Should be awesome.
If you'd like to see what it was like at the Colts/Pats game...during game starts at about the 2:30 mark. Prior to that is outside tailgating, you can see the new stadium going up in the background.
