ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! What is Grossman doing?!?!?

That's how he throws all his deep passes, he airs it out and it hangs in the air. That doesn't work when the safety is up top, lol.

EDIT: Reworded my post....just didn't sound right.:o

He throws long, gets lucky, then goes for it again when the Defense is expecting it? Bears are loosing, and the Colts are taking advantage.

Pathetic. What an absolutely pathetic effort by the Bears all the way around. They handed this game to the Colts on a silver platter.

Ewwwww GROSSman!!!

:barf:

One of the worst displays of offense I have ever seen in a Super Bowl. The rain may have been a factor....maybe not.

QFT! Grossman stunk it up out there. At least it was a fun game to watch.

TBH the Colts did not play spectacular either, but when you never have to worry about the Bear's offense....well the Bears defense became flat tired.

If only they had a QB....

Colts did not have much of a defense all year long but someone else must have showed up for post season play. They stepped up again tonight when it counted most. Yeah, Grossman threw two bad passes for interceptions but the weather and pressure of the defense were contributing factors.

I hope you asked for permission from the NFL, or they will be all over your arse.

I watched it too, stayed up all night. I don't know much about the game but the event is simply awesome, great entertainment!

I didn't. I'm going to see if I can find on their site what the rule is about that.

Anyone want to explain to me why Manning got the MVP? Addai had a much better game and was a bigger factor in the win......

There was almost no chance of anyone but Manning getting the MVP if the Colts won. I suppose if he had played terrible or someone had had the most spectacular game in Super Bowl history maybe, but otherwise there was no chance.

It was a very entertaining game. A bit sloppy, but the weather will do that. Can we finally stop talking about how Manning can't win the big game?:)

Exactly. Addai and or Rhodes really were the MVPs but Manning is the QB and really controlled the game with his decision making.

First Super Bowl ever in the rain, that was surprising to me.

And yes, a thousand times "yes" :) Manning can/did win the big game (and against a Florida Gator QB at that!)

Now that I think about it I'd give the MVP to the Colts' offensive line. Manning hardly got touched the entire game and they were opening some holes that I could have run through for those backs. I really don't have a problem with Manning getting it though. It may not have been a flashy performance but he did exactly what he needed to in order to win, and other than one int he hardly made a mistake.

Yeah, although considering how many of them are played in domes maybe not as much.

Even then, the superbowl was played outdoors 29 times and none of them rained until yesterday. Got that number from ESPN guys btw.

If it wasn't for the rain I don't think the game would've been that great. Back to back turnovers two times in the super bowl?!? That was amazing.:D

Hmm, didn't realize that many were played outdoors. I guess dome SB's are a more recent development though.

And I agree about the weather. I was screaming "hold on to the ball" every time there was a good play because of all the fumbles. Just made it more interesting.:)

Tell me about it....there were so many times I planned on taking a bathroom break but didn't want to miss out on anything big. Especially after I almost missed the opening kickoff, great game.

I thought this Super Bowl had a different feel to it than some of the recent ones...probably because I just paid so much attention to this one. It was kind of underwhelming in a way considering how poorly Grossman played and how Indy was so much more physical than the Bears. Indy beat the Bears at their own game, just made them look silly.
