There's only one user account on my computer, so I was wondering is there a a way to skip the login screen? It's kinda tedious having to click to login every time. (This is for XP home btw)

I think you have to turn off Fast User Switching in your account management in control panel. Not sure though.

>>Click RUN

>>Type MSCONFIG

>>Go to BOOT.INI (Fourth tab)

>>On the bottom there are option under BOOT OPTIONS

>>If you click one of those it disables the login screen everytime you boot up. I think it is NOGUIBOOT. I used it a while back but don't remember exactley which one I selected.

or you could do this, its what i did...

Go to Start/Run, and type 'control userpasswords2'.
From Users Tab, Uncheck "Users must enter ...."
A dialog will allow setting a user and password to be used automatically.
