Anyone using a ~500w PSU with a C2D/8800 setup? I have a new parts coming in, I just did the #'s at Extreme PSU Calculator and it comes damn close to 500w at default speeds and I plan to OC :(
I'm running a rock solid Enermax 500w Liberty think it'll be enough or is to close??

I am using a OCZ 520w PSU with my e6700 and 8800 GTS. On the PSU calculator I think the peak draw would be like 430W..

its ran like a charm ever since I got it:D

Well that depends what PSU you have. Is it a good quality one, or a crap quality one.

Just to be safe....to upgraded to a Forton FX600 600w PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104025)
I'm sure my Enermax will run the new setup, but I plan on keeping it through "07" with maybe a vid upgrade around fall, so better to be safe than push it.
