I saw on my college's bookstore website that they sell Vista Home Premium upgrade, but right under it says that the "Academic version is Full-version software" of Vista. Is this implying that it is just like the full version and I can install from a fresh HD, or this is still the upgrade and must be upgraded through XP?

Ya, that's one of the sites I was looking at. The one from my bookstore was $5-10 more I believe. Just trying to figure out if the "full version" is just saying that once installed it's the full version, or academic versions are the same as the full version, although I doubt that would be the case now that I think about it. From $230 to $70 is too big of a difference I guess. Sucks that I have XP Pro, so can't use that Home Premium upgrade.
