Well, at least some peoples. Mine just disappeared...again. It did so in 64bit and now again in 32bit. I can't trace it down to a specific program or action, either. If you Google "vista dvd missing" or something similar, you'll see more people with this issue.

Just thought I'd give a heads up. It definetly doesn't happen to everyone (I know 20 people will storm the thread saying they don't have a problem), but it could happen to you!!! ;)

I've read about some solutions, so I'll let you guys know when I've resolved the issue.

#1 -- it doesn't happen with mine. :p Using 32-bit here.

It happened to me with 32bit RC2 as well.

Thanks for the alert,

So far all is ok here with both my DVD drives on the BX2. I decided to install some optional language packs and boy that's taking awhile for some reason.
