Both of my systems listed in my sig seem to have the same problem. What happens is this......Some programs like Ventrilo and Windows Media player don't play any sounds when I'm in a game. And when I minimize the game I can hear the sounds all fine, it's strange because some other programs like Teamspeak and Itunes don't have this problem. I am able to temporally fix the problem by minimizing whatever game it is, I then bring up the task manager and set the cpu priority to either ventrilo or WMP on realtime then it works fine. Is there a way to permanently fix the issue without having to minimize the game to get these programs working?
