Can you post some screenshots?
I really like it, I think the ribbons are really cool.

Can you increase the toolbar to 500px, that 300px toolbar still leaves a little too much room allowing you to actually partially see the document you're working on.

I didn't care for the interface when I tried the beta. I'm going to stick with 2003 for the forseeable future.

Yeah, I felt the same way.
I'm really interested in trying out InfoPath 2007 and SharePoint Forms Designer 2007 (I think that's what it's called), though. But in order to run SharePoint Server 2007, you have to have Windows Server 2003 and I don't have a spare box currently. :(
I miss developing for SharePoint in InfoPath. I <3 XML.

Wait...what are ribbons? The different style sets for fonts?

If you double-click the tabs on the ribbons, it'll turn the ribbon interface to "auto-hide" mode and free up more screen area.

I think it is pretty nice. I especially like the feature whereas if you aren't sure what something does, you just highlight the text and hover over the feature, and you get an instant preview of what it is going to do.
I also like how MS software is removing the toolbars in favor of single menu and context menu driven interfaces. Toolbars suck ass for finding features. Especially on sh*tty OSX where you have to click on a window before you can see its toolbar. Apple would do well to learn from microsoft here, but then there's no right mouse button on most toshes so they're a bit screwed in that department.
I LOVE the new Office. I've been using it since November and haven't had the first real issue with it. It took me a while to figure out how to change some of the defaults, like the auto double spacing in Word. Other than that, its stable and has TONS of cool new features. SmartArt is very useful and looks professional. Excel charts have a better degree of professionalism as well.
I'm much more satisfied with Office 07 than Windows 07.

I just loaded up the ultimate last night. I've been using the beta since it came out, and it has been pretty nice. The learning curve is trying to figure out where stuff is, and in the beta, you couldn't bring up a context menu for when you get lost looking for a feature. I still hate IE7 for the fact that it is a pita to get to the options.
@belarnion: Looks good, I've been getting used to being able to see 2 full pages at once, and it is pretty sweet.

I agree. I've been using it since Beta 2 and it is amazing. Everything is WAY more accessible.

Same here. As with anything this vastly different, it takes some time...but it did not take as long as you might think. I found it logical and easy to use after only a short while messing with it. Now I use it everyday.

Here's a question regarding Office 2007...If I were to buy Office 2007 Pro would I be able to install it on my laptop and my desktop without any problems? Or will it only let me activate it on one of them? Because I really don't want to buy 2 copies....

Yes you are allowed to have it on your laptop and Desktop.

With all of the fuss surrounding the upgrade disk of Vista (won't allow you to put in old disk for upgrade eligibility verification), how does the Office 2007 upgrade work? Does it ask you to input the disk of your old version of Office? Or do you have to install the old version of Office and then actually upgrade that?

I just got it and got it running on my laptop, desktop, dad's desktop, and dad's laptop with no issues.
My laptop did not have office installed, so it installed 07 from the get go. However on my desktop it asked me if I wanted to upgrade from 03, and it gave me the option to remove the "old" office programs or simply leave them AND install 07.
I'm loving it so far!

And you're using the "Upgrade" version as opposed to the "Full" version?

Can you increase the toolbar to 500px, that 300px toolbar still leaves a little too much room allowing you to actually partially see the document you're working on.
Get a bigger monitor.

Yeah, it'd be way better to have a command line interface you could bring up to indent, bold, etc. The syntax should be archaic and non-intuitive.

I'm using this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16832116162).
Got it from school, fairly cheap.
