Folder view help!

Right... in control panel> Folder options and under the view tab, im trying to change the folder options so all folders auto set to tiles view however as you cen see form the picture the apply to folders box is greyed out! anybody got any ideas why? how i can change this so i can apply the tile folder icons to all folders?

Stupid i know but it annoying me lol!
