1) Uninstall EVERYTHING video/audio playback related, inc codecs, players, streamers, browser plugins etc.

2) Install VLC player

I have the same problem with all Divx and Xvid-Files. If I watch a video with one of those formats the WM11 starts a slideshow and not a video. I also think it's a problem with the 8800, because a friend of mine doesn't have the problem. We use the same (new) codecs. The only difference is that I have the 8800 and he's got an ati. Everything runs fine with the VLC-Player, but when that is on Aero doesn't work anymore...
