Hi all,
It's now 24 hours I'm fighting with an integrated Geforce 6150 (in the ASUS M2NPV-VM mobo) with (almost) no sleep in between. The drivers installed okay, but somehow the DVI output never works.
I have a Dell 1707FPt connected by a DVI cable which displays everything very fine until Windows XP loads the NVidia drivers.
Under Ubuntu Edgy, the display behaved similarly until I installed the latest Xorg drivers and module version 9xxx (instead of 8xxx) and forced the output to DVI. Several people on forums here and there seem to have had the same problem, but nobody posted any solution that would help me.
I already upgraded to the latest mobo BIOS version, but it didn't help.
I'm just wondering how did other owners of this mobo and/or chipset manage to make DVI work. I just can't believe that it just doesn't work and nobody does anything about it.
Does anybody have any clue?
