Wow, I really wasn't expecting it to turn out this way at this point seeing how she has been missing since last June. I am glad she is okay and in a safe place now.

Great news, and I am very happy. Anyways, here is the source (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,80930,00.html)

Just heard that... it's amazing. I figured she was in a shallow grave since back in July. Glad the world has some sense of justice after all... :D

That's awesome. Her situation was the focus of the most recent America's Most Wanted, maybe that had something to do with helping get her back. But it doesn't really matter, all that matters is that she's back home safe and sound.

Thats amazing!! Miracles do still happen, I'm sure it was like waking up from a 9-month old nightmare to her family. Glad to her she's alive and appears unharmed after such a long ordeal.

Mine was destroyed as soon as I picked up the teddy bear, had dirty thoughts and started doing unethical things to it. ;)

thank god for miracles.

now lets send her captors to meet Jesus.

gather up some rope and find a tall oak tree.

they can never return to society and warehousing them has no merit.

I pray Elizabeth recovers emotionaly, Im sure she has the support of her community.

I wish more sad stories ended this way.

How ironic you would mention killing someone and then relate it to Christianity...IMO the two are mutually exclusive.

They probably need mental treatment if anything; I mean come on, prophets for the homeless?

well, the girl has been in safe hands for about 30 hours now and there are already people speculating that she married this guy and stayed with him willfully. I don't usually disagree with Bill O'rielly but he is being real stupid lately. He went off about Larry King spending his shows just speculating and speculating about her disappearence, now when she is found, he has spent the last 2 shows that he has done speculating about why she didn't run away, why she didn't scream out at people at a party so they could save her and he is even going off into the possibility of her marrying this polygamist guy. I don't know, I just don't like this type of "reporting" from anyone, left or right.

Let the girl have her breathing room, she's been held captive for 9 months, now what? are the media gonna make her a prisoner in her own home? the girl's life has already been affected drastically, whats the point in poking and poking at her until she bursts. Really disappointing.

This is proof that one should not give up on a love one who goes missing.....BUT! it is also proof that the innocent sometimes go to jail and die for a crimes they didnt commit. The guy who was their main focus, who BTW was no saint, would have most likely taken the rap for this. They say they where not holding him beacause he was a suspect...but yeah right. Sorry but I like to sometimes...anway. Its great that something like this happend though. I am so sick of hearing of some of the things being done to children.

umm... no. He didn't die in jail for what he did. He was being held on a unrelated charge, it was a perole violation. He had a brain hemorage and died. Regardless of the whole Liz Smart disappearence he would have died in jail anyways.

Yeah lord, I know they where holding him on unrealated charges...but thats a common practice to do in serious cases, where you dont want the suspect to get up and go to another state or country, so you hold them on a charge where most times they would still be free...not saying he is angel but what I am saying he most likely would have taken the rap. I say this because when he died alot of reports where saying he went to his grave with all he new, possible giving up all hopes of finding this girl. They where wrong on both cases he new nothing and she was found alive which sadly doesnt happen to often.

yep. I'm just glad they found her alive. I don't put much thought into this because it will just sour the happy moment. The police in Utah today said they have cleared Ricci of any involvement and have removed his name from the investigation. They are also returning all the property they seized, so at least they are admitting they were wrong. I'm just glad to see one of these things turn out good for a change:)
