Did you really register with MikeC? Been here awhile...

As for the controller, does it require drivers? Rumble work on PC Games?

Use these drivers http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html

and yes rumble works in games that support DirectInput force feedback.

I use a Controller-S with an adapter I bought (I was too lazy to make my own). Great controller, and for $15 with the adapter included it's definitely worth it. The only real difference between the Controller-S and the 360 controller is that the 360 controller is a little bit slimmer and the white/black buttons were turned into shoulder buttons.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents for anybody that's thinking about buying this from nekrosoft13.

Will this act as a 360 controller in games that support it?

No. You could still use it in the games, but the auto config support used in Tomb Raider Legend, Lost Planet etc wont work.

Damn.

I've been wanting to give that a try in some games.

Like DiRT. Apparently the controls blow for everything but a 360 controller.

Just get a 360 controller then. You can use both the wired and wireless ones on PC.

Yeah but they are $50-$60 and I wouldn't really get THAT much use out of it.

IMO, controllers are way too expensive, but I guess thats one more way they have to make up for taking a loss on the systems themselves.

Nekro's item here is a hell of a deal though. Those are nice controllers... I doubt anything that costs twice as much would be as good.

Better get a 360 too then. That way you can use it on both and get lots of use out of it.

EDIT: Just saw I put Biosock! It's too funny I have to leave it. :rofl Bigman!

Anyway, the only games that interest me there are Bioshock and C&C:3 and I have em both for PC. :D

But lets not derail nekro's thread. :captnkill:

crainger is right, that the driver, and it works for all the games.

and yes I registered with mikeC well maybe a year ago or so.

Little story why this controller even exist. My dog have bitten through the cable and the original xbox plug was not usable. So i grabbed a USB cable spliced the cables and Xbox PC controller was born ;)

Is this controler compatable with Battlefield, HL/HL2, F.E.A.R. and other FPS's? I've been wanting to buy a 360 controller but I didn't want to waste my money with the discovery that the games might not support it.

it does? I never noticed that, maybe you have MIC plugged into it?

I bought an Xbox 360 controller the other night specifically for DiRT and don't regret it. It made a huge difference.

I find it odd that nobody has mentioned the Xbox 360 steering wheel set. Is this possible to use on PC? Does it hook-up via USB as well? If it is supported by DiRT, I bet that would rock!

Anyways, BUMP for good seller and good product!!

Yeah, must be because I didn't notice that, but I don't have the headsets. Do you have the headset or were you just saying it installed the audio driver incase you do have the headset?

it works on PC, but not by USB, its wireless, so you need a wireless receiver
