With Ntune Im having issues getting OC's to work, do you know if upgrading to these drivers helps any?

For some reason others can get overclocking working but some of us it just wont work. Or is it an 8800 thing?

Any help apreciated.

i haven't done anything special natest ntune, and 100.64, oc'ing seems to work fine.

Well, even if the Cavemen used it, I wouldn't mind using it too, as long as it gives me the best IQ in games :D

Had some BSODs when trying to update the WEI score. Don't know if it was related to the processor overclock, or to the new drivers. Anyway, I lowered the FSB and it seems stable now.
Didn't notice any improvement in games. Have to test more.

Geez, pay $500 to be a beta tester for nvidia...:thumbdwn: I wonder why they reported record revenues this quarter... At least creativelabs is in a much worse condition right now with Vista then they are.
Creative drivers are fine for me, except EAX is missing, but thats not SUCH a big problem since normal sound works too.
NVIDIA doesnt have anything alternative to offer.

7800 GTX here, not even thinking about an 8800 GTX until Nvidia gets their act together. I read somewhere that 400k were sold, man, I feel bad for those that spent a lot of cash for a subpar running card in Vista.

As for these drivers, no issues so far, but they really need to fix:

Vsync, even with a game turning it on, there's still some minor tearing, it's not quite perfect yet.

Control panel is a mess

Performance is still quite poor.

I played WoW, Quake 4, Guild Wars and Lotro, performance didn't seem to drop from 100.5x. Quake 4 ran well, actually.

I find it hard to believe we are getting WHQL drivers in 2 weeks (as said by Nvidia).

What issue did they fix with flat panel scaling? It's still totally non-functional.
Maybe it works, but the control panel won't save the option.

Yay.... Fan control works again!!! :-D However... my overclock keeps failing at anything over the defualt speed of the card (meaning no overclock) :( Is there a way to disable the test and force the overclock?

Yes enabling AA in Vista yields baaad results.
I'm not too sure about that one. I run *all* games in Vista with 16xAA and 16xAF. Even Oblivion. The framerate rarely drops below 60fps.

You have no idea how happy I am to see that you now have your fan control.

As for overclocking, you have several options, including flashing, or third party apps. I'm hoping we don't have to hear about your inabilitiy every third post until the driver allows you to do it.

If it hasn't been said the CP will properly "adjust desktop color settings" and loses anything you have set to return to default with a restart.

overclock is not functional yet.

Install all the features off the disk Except drivers and install the beta drivers over the top. Works awesome in vista 32!!

Dreamscene is pretty much unusable with these beta drivers. Crashes when decoding video constantly.

Dreamscene is working fine here using the 100.64 and Vista-64. I've tried Step In Liquid and a few others without any crashes. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to use that feature though. It's really distracting. Hopefully they'll release some videos where there's just a little motion.

Edit: The LCD scaling is broken for me though. While others have had that problem for a while, it has always worked correctly for me. I just tried the Do Not Scale option (my usual selection) and it didn't work.
