As much as i'd LOVE to see that, it would never happen :-(

I wish Nvidia would just give an updated Response on this freaking issue.

Nice Avatar btw.

ok guys someone just told me that if u change the cache of windows from auto to Manual the problem seems fixed, for someone.

Min:your RAM*2
Max:your RAM*2

Gonna try it right now!(nana2)

UPDATE!

Seems that the Cache mod resolved my problem with the Nvlddmkm Stopped responding+company of heroes!

Entire mission called "route 69" with no error !

By cache you mean virtual memory, right? I've had the same problem with COH and it will seem like it's fixed, but it will eventually happen again. I've beat the game dealing with the crash and at some points I thought I wasn't going to ever get through a level because of consistent crashing. Right now FSX is my biggest issue with this error. The only time I get this using DX9 games is when running 3dmark06 overnight.

I've had this error ever since I put my computer together in April 2007, and it seemed like it was the worst in August and early September when I started playing the first DX10 games. Ever since then it has been getting better and I get it VERY rarely now, mostly only in FSX and Hellgate: London. My 680i ended up frying my RAM once which was causing the error for a while, but when I replaced them the error was still there, just didn't happen as often. I've been stress testing this computer with prime95 and memtest+ and it's perfectly stable, this just happens when playing games. It has to be a driver issue, there's no other explaination.

BTW, I'm lazy....my specs are the same as $n][perMan's except my ram is running at 4-4-4-9 1066 and I have a RAID0.

Did you test the virtual memory "fix" with FSX?

Does it have to be RAM times 2? My hard drive doesnt have enough space for times 2. I can go times one. I am deleting crap though trying to get times 2. Ironically I may have to delete the games in order to play the games that I have to delete to play the games...................

What is the nvidia windows update that just came out? Nevermind just look at my new avatar. Do you know who she is? I adjusted the virtual mem to x2 and no change. I pulled out 3 gigs of memory and left 1, as bumble bee man would say "no es bueno". I should insure this pc and light it on fire. Is it possible to disable TDR?

Semi Update, strickly just playing games I haven't noticed any issues with my 3870 x2. It SEEMS that the issue of the Driver Stopped responding is no longer apparent with this ATi card.
Performance isn't on par with the GTX though at least in Crysis (all settings Very High, 4xAA, 1680x1050) I noticed more slow downs in combat.

Keep in mind I haven't installed Fraps nor ran any benches.

I may bring in my Dad's 37 Westy and see how this card performs at higher resolutions.

Also, this is on a fresh Windows 64bit Install. Just Drivers, updates, and Crysis installed at the moment on a Raptor.

Keep up posted on that ATi card :)

What fix do you speak of?

I haven't been able to try out any higher resolutions than 1680x1050. But the performance isn't that bad in other games (only play WoW (canceling for good now!!) and CoD4, Witcher).

I am getting my 8800GTX back, as my buddy who bought it says its overkill for his system so he gave it back to me. I gave him his money back, there goes my Water Cooling! Argh!

Who knows man, if I can find a driver set that freaking works (doubtful) I may end up replacing the mobo, trying the GTX again. If it doesn't work. Keep the ATi for awhile and just sell everything off and build a Dual Proc Workstation to use at home.

EDIT: I will say this, this card has not crashed ONCE in ANY games I played.

Here it happens when my pc runs for a long period (let us say 1.5, 2 days straight), then it starts and then it comes more and more
