MX440 Dual Monitor Setup...

Greetings!

After a week of research and fighting I've finally got Dual Monitors going with Red Hat 8.0.

The only problem I seem to be having is about every other time that I log out, the system hangs with a black left monitor, a frozen cursor (on the left monitor) and the right monitor shuts off completely and I end up hitting the reset button on the PC.

Any reason why it would be doing this? I'm using the 4191 drivers, rebuilt from src.rpm's and everything else seems to work just fine.

I bet you have the same problem with vt-switch also? Does the system hang even with single monitor setup? I think the current driver does not support 440 very well.

I dunno anything about the vt-switch. I did try disabling DRI and that didn't seem to work either.

It locks up right after you logout and just before the login screen appears. :/
