Nice! It would take a while to get used to with the way it looks but it's nice!

Holy crap, just saw the price! :headexplode:

I would definitley get the Dell 2407 over the BenQ and save quite a bit of money, even if it doesn't have all of the features the BenQ does.

The BenQ whether it is that model or the other ones also comes with an HDMI port.:D

I really want that for an HD DVD player or a revision of the Xbox 360.:D

This is another model I was looking at:

Well the FP241W is only $750 at NewEgg....I wonder to myself why the silver stand for the FP241VW would make it cost $250 more.

Hmmmm....

750? That's not so bad then. The link I saw said it was 1300 or some crazy price like that.

Also, I wasn't bashing it tiki, not at all. :o For what you get with the Benq i can see why you would choose it over the Dell. Be sure to let us know when you get it man!

Well Mwave and Amazon have the nicer one for $1,000. It's not even out yet. It's suppose to be released on Thursday or something.

$750 is very tempting with an HDMI port.:D (nana2)

now all you need is the 360 with the digital out (DVI/HDMI) :naughty:

i wouldnt be too concerned with HDMI tbh. you can convert DVI to HDMI and vice versa. thats the benefits of a digital signal :D

What's so fantastic about this LCD is that it would let me connect an HD DVD player plus the PC connection (DVI) plus the Xbox 360.:D

That screen is amazing... :drooling: It sucks not having a job and having school books you have to read up to your neck, without an end in sight! :headexplode:

Your rig is gonna be awesome though! ;)

Like I already said, you should get a 30" for that rig :D

Tiki,

I agree with the above.. I have a 3007 and I love it, we have practically the same hardware. That system of yours *deserves* a 30" LCD.. and if you want something else for your gaming needs.. ie.. xbox.. blu ray etc.., buy a HDTV.. ;) that's pretty much what I did. But I will say that Benq is a very nice monitor!!

Thanks guys. I will really consider the 3007WFP. The only problem is the BenQ is $850 at some stores I have found and thats almost $400 cheaper.:D

Tiki I like that monitor, very nice layout & connection options. All you need now is a HD-DVD ROM if they will ever fricking come out with one for the PC.

Yep I'm thinking HD DVD player or perhaps if the Xbox 360 goes HDMI someday.:D

Why not just use the X360 player with your computer and a DVI to HDMI cable?

Anyway this monitor looks promising. I have been having a hard time finding a reason to replace my trust 21in trinitron...

360 doesn't have DVI or HDMI output. Only component or VGA. The only solution is to use a VGA cable to the monitor directly. From what I know, the newest revision of the Dell 2407 can do 1080p from 360 via VGA and Component too I think (or something like that). Not sure about the BenQ or the Dell 3007.
