It's not the SE16 model, at times, it sells for the same price. You might want to wait and see if next week BB puts the SE16 on sale again. It was on sale just last week for $112.99, well worth the 16MB cache IMHO.

You can get the Seagate 7200.10 16MB cache on Newegg for $95 or less w/5 year warranty.

^Yeah, 110 for the same storage with smaller warranty is a pretty bad deal.

Bad deal, bad deal. Go with the OEM product, they have better warranty. GO OEM! GO OEM!

To be honest I recommend the Samsung spinpoint T series. Quietest drive other than solid state. Decent speed. Lots of space for cheap (400GB is like $100).

I can vouch for these drives.

They're fast, quiet, reliable and the 5 year warranty is unbeatable. I have 2 of them, as well as a 200gig Seagate 7200.8.

Seagate FTW. :)

I have one of the 320 GB Seagate7200.10 models. It truly is quiet - I ran my OS on it before I got my raptor, and I could not hear it click.

I have a couple of the 320 GB Seagate 7200.10s, they are nice but I had one fail within a week.
