Just 'cause you type in all caps, you think you'll get a response faster?
You cant boot up in safe mode? Hit f8 on boot up to get a sub menu where you can select safe mode. If you can boot up in safe mode, then do a system restore, seems strange though, I havent heard of SP1 causing any problems after install
nope cant rightbefore going into safe mode on apg440 loading i get the session manager unexpected termination bsod
i kinda fixed it by installing windows on top of it.
i have all my files but i cant run them because it says identity unreconized or reinstall because of incorrect cd key. sucks.

I ended up with a ton of problems with SP1 when I first tried installing it...and when I tried installing it the second and third times, too. The same thing was happening, the BSOD on bootup. I tried a different set of NVidia drivers, which seemed to have worked the boot up, until it tried to load anything else. Then it would die again. I gave up on SP1 for about 4 months.
I recently formatted to get rid of some stuff lying around that was scattered all over the place. After the format, I installed my hardware drivers. Then before installing ANY optional software, I installed SP1. It's worked ever since. There must be a compatibility issue that hasn't been nailed down to some random program floating around out there.
I doubt this helps a lot, but I wanted to let you know that others have shared in your grief. After all the problems I had, my girlfriend is terrified of trying to install SP1 on her machine. She doesn't want to know what will explode or come flying out of her case :)
thanks yea after the bsods i am just gonna reformat when my athlonxp 2400 and asus deluxe board comes in.
