View Full Version : Good 360 games?

Hey i got my 360 like this past november and so far I have; Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, Project Gotham Racing 3, Test Drive: Unlimited, Burnout (revenge i think?), and Saint's Row.
I was thinking of picking up Oblivion, Dead Rising, or even Condemned?
I was wondering if you have any games I should at least give a chance to?

I would recommend Fight Night Round 3 if you like boxing, Lego Star Wars II: Original Trilogy, Splinter Cell DA, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

The only games I have are Fight Night, Gears of War, and Rainbow Six: Vegas. Crackdown should be on its way from Amazon this week.
I don't play Vegas much, but I definitely enjoy Fight Night, and it's only like $30 now. And I really liked the Crackdown demo, so I would suggest trying that out and maybe buying the full game.

oh yeah i have splinter cell double agent, good game but not really my style.
i played the demo of crackdown and it while it does seem fun i doesn't really catch my attention that much.
RBSV is something i'll look into, fight night wasn't that impressive to me either.

Dead Rising is pretty good and so is RBVS. I would say go by the demos. Only dead rising I would say dont judge via the demo because its not just a run around killing everything fair. I would also recommend Kameo, a great and underrated game.

GRAW, Tony Hawk: Project 8, Rainbow Six:Vegas, Psychonauts (although an original Xbox game I still love it.)

Kameo and Condemned are my favorites that aren't already on your list.
Lego Star Wars II
Ridge Racers 6
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

looks like I need to pick up Condemned, the gamestop guys were telling me that Lost Planet is a MUST have, and that it was on par with Gears of War.
Now i'm a GoW fan, so what do you guys that have Lost Planet and Gears think of it?

I've not played Lost Planet, but the consensus seems to be that it's still not quite as good as Gears. Gears is quite the work of art, but it's far more fun if you can find a friend to play co-op. I also have to throw in a vote for Lego Star Wars II. The first game is backwards compatible as well. I'm not a Star Wars fan by any stretch, but I had a blast playing those two games.

Condemned is definet. up there on teh list of overlooked games. I dunno why but I liked GUN for some reason. Lost planet is ok, looks and sounds great though, i dont like the gameplay though.
