I have taken a Gamefly account, and now want to try some serious SP games on the Wii(enough with the casual party stuff). ALso I have never played on the Gamecube, so I want to know which are the good games on that also.

A list would be nice so I can just add to the queue on gamefly.

Zelda is good.

Despite the bugs and simply awful voice acting, I really enjoyed Red Steel. Super Swing Golf isn't bad either, and the new Sonic game is getting decent reviews.

Stay away from Call of Duty and Far Cry, though. Play them on the Xbox, where they belong.

I didnt think call of duty was too bad. And i've been interested in Super Swing golf, but since Tiger Woods is coming out 3/13, im just gonna get that for my golf fix. Wario is an insanely fun game, even by yourself.

All of the Wii FPS's have their warts, but stay away from Far Cry. It's $&#ing awful. With the other two some people like them some people hate them, so they're worth giving a shot as long as you can just send them back if you don't like them.

I also really enjoyed Excite Truck. It's more fun to play with a bunch of people watching, but it's still entertaining by yourself. It's not super complex with a deep storyline or anything, but I really enjoy it. You can't just blast through it as fast as possible either, try to get S's on all the courses in both modes to really get into it.

And of course Zelda. Although that's probably better to buy since if you play like I do it could take you a while to beat it and it will be filling a rental slot that whole time.

Resident Evil 4, Burnout 2, Beyond Good and Evil, Killer 7 (if you dig postmodern themes). Be sure to pick up Mario 64 from the Virtual Console if you've not done so already.

I picked up both Metroid Prime games cheap for Wii just so I would be more familiar with the 3d... they are great.

Trauma Centre is fun sp too.

Um Zelda

Zelda Twilight Princess is one of the greatest games of all time. Maybe even better than Ocarina of Time, but I haven't made my final decision yet.

I went to Best Buy and bought Zelda last night. Is there no voice during the dialogues, just a buzz or is something wrong with my wii?

Yes, rather than throw in sh^t voice acting like every other game these days has, Nintendo chose to spend more time making the gameplay and level design nearly perfect.

Zelda is not a game that shows off the latest technologies, but it engages your imagination like no game I've ever seen before. The whole series is really 5+ years ahead of it's time in this regard.
