I thought this is pretty cool, so I decided I should post this for anyone who wants it:

It makes you XP look almost identical to Vista.
I thought this was really cool becuase I can't get Vista right now so I'm happy with this. It includes sounds log on screen etc.

Yeah that one is pretty old, but I still prefer desktop x and windowblinds, because that way you can alter and add whatever you want! :)

Well I think it's called VistaXP, but I only use blinds to get a vista-look for my windows(ffx, word, etc.) while I use DesktopX for the desktop, start panel and widgets. The DesktopX I'm using is called Vistastyle, but I did some editing.

Oh well I thought I would share it with everyone. That theme you have is really nice! Are u using Desktop X or WindowBLinds for that one?

Both actually, as desktopx doesn't have any affect on the windows such as firefox, word etc. I use windowblinds for that. :)

So what actually is the difference bettween desktop x and windowblinds?

Windowblinds are more or less just upgrades of the themes already in XP, while desktopX can change the look completely, but has one drawback which is that it doesn't have any affect on open windows.
Here a good link for themes and more info:
