Simple question, What do you preffer. Good Single Player, or Good Multiplayer?

I personally preffer good single player.

thats true, some games are meant to be MP only, I play those on rare occasion.

Good single player story/gameplay is a must for me.

Good Single player by far has more determination on what games I buy.

Yeah, Good Singleplayer is a must for me. Sometimes i'll actually sit down and have a crack at multi, but i find that most single modes are lacking these days because of too much focus on multi.

I can barely stand playing MP anymore, so Single Player is what I look for these days.

Single player. Don't do MP anymore.. too many retarted little kids online. I wish these was an age check on servers.

I do both, but probably only play fps games in multiplayer. I don't think I could put those kind of hours into a single player game as there often isn't that much variety with AI yet.

I guess I don't like to play with myself. :) I'd much rather have a good MP than sp anyday. It is much more fun to be able to game with friends than play by yourself. I don't have a lot of time to play games, so when I do it is usually with a few friends. If I had more time, I'd be more concerned about SP.

I prefer SP mostly. Though for RTSs I'd say MP all the way. I love going over to my bud's house and bringing my computer (for a total of 4 computers) and having a huge battle in BFMEII. So frikken sweet. :p

I love SP because you are always the best. The records are all yours and what you do has an impact on the game.

MP means you have to contend with people's egos, bad players, cheaters. You could be dozing on your seat and the game doesnt care. You may be so good and yet keep losing. There is no progression in MP games also. Play map A, win, reload, play again, change map, play, reload and so on.

Exactly the reason why SP isn't nearly as rewarding when you whoop ass.

The records are all yours and what you do has an impact on the game.

Same thing with MP, I don't see how you can claim this for SP only.

SP. And SP Coop.

MP, when I'm in mood and it depends how fun it is. I also hate being owned under few minutes of play. :p

If the game mode I am playing is fun I will play it. MP or single does not matter to me.

I like an immersive sp game, that has some meat to it. None of this sub 8 hour wackoff session stuff. And co op. Co op is a must.

Yea, it really sucks when you are getting owned badly. We always play RTS games against the computer so we can coop against them. People don't feel so bad if they get beat by the computer as by other players. FPS we always play against each other in CTF, so even if you get screwed you can still contribute in some way.
