I have an Intel DG965OT motherboard with Core 2 Duo E6600 & 8800GTS videocard + X-FI Elite Pro.

I was wondering, has anyone tried 4GB RAM with X-FI & Vista x64 on an Intel 965 chipset? I heard the X-FI drivers for XP x64 had problems (static, popping, or lack of hardware acceleration) but I have also heard reports that this is fixed in Vista x64 (and that the probs may also be due to nForce4).

So anyone with a similar setup to mine see if the x-fi works right? Thanks.

In case anyone cares, this combo seems to work fine. No issues I have found yet.

Nice.. Thanks for supplying the update. :)

I've always wondered about this, and eventually, I'll be doing the same thing.
