I've already read it a lot of times in this forum but I also have this question: What about this stupied DH-function in XFree which doesn't really work! What can I do to run in Xineramamode and not in clonemode?

Read the nvidia driver docs in /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/ on how to setup twinview. If you set it up like that it didn't default to clone mode.

If you already set up twinview like that use:
Option "TwinViewOrientation" <value>
where <value> is:
Clone, LeftOf, RightOf, Above or Below
