93.81 drivers don't seem to enable SLI mode? You can enable load balancing and see that it doesn't do anything. You can run Supreme Commander.exe /map perftest and have the game confirm that it doesn't do anything.

Someone in the drivers section said the 97.73 driver "sometimes worked", but I'm wondering if they were mistaken. Sli is useless for this game....right?

Is it not possible to run one monitor off one card and another of the secondary card?

I don't have a second monitor. I don't want dual monitor mode. I'm trying to enable SLI for performance reasons.

It seems RTSes tend not to benefit from SLI as heavily as other types of games.

Even then Supreme Commander tends to be heavy CPU wise.

Maybe it's just me, but from my experience the graphics card won't be what slows you down in SupCom, regardless of what graphics card you're using.

Obviously you are wrong here. Did you look at imakandi's post? As long as those numbers are correct it seems that GPU speed is more important than CPU. The min rate is doubled when running SLI and the avg is about 30% higher.

What GPU was used in the last three scenarios?

It was the same - 2x 8800gtx core 625 / mem 1000

Thanks for that!

What drivers did you use for the winxp testing?
