I am trying to set up my performance and quality settings on my new PC and was wondering what I should use for SLI rendering mode on my 2x8800GTX system. It is currently set to single GPU rendering. Also, shouldn't I have higher than 4x for FSAA? I am using XP pro by the way.

What drivers are using. It oughta go up to 16X. Does for me with the 97.44s.

Also - different games will behave differently as it relates to SLI mode. NASCAR 2003 seems to prefer single GPU, whereas Far Cry, for instance, can handle SLI.

I am using 97.92 drivers. I notice when I change to SLI antaliasing mode I can select either SLI4x or SLI 8x for AA.

This is how mine looks:

Are both cards (SLI) enabled?

SLiAA doesn't work with the 8 Series I believe, Im not seeing an option for 32xAA for them and well 16xAA is capable of being displayed with a single card.

Ah ok - I get up to 16x in the new control panel but I can only select up to 4 in the classic one. It says I have SLI enabled also. Thanks for the help.

Yeah - I started getting used to the new Control Panel a bit ago. Seems pretty functional at least.

Enjoy your rig!
