So low and behold...the SAME bug I had under XP is in Vista.

Playing a DVD....go from fullscreen to in a window...pause....go back to full screen...hit play...BSOD in the audio driver.

I have a Audigy 2 with their latest (only) Vista driver. I thought the new way audio was implemented in to Vista was supposed to stop BSODs from audio issues.

Bah!

It was supposed to stop video driver BSODs too, even though I get multiple a day from general desktop usage...

beta driver?

Yeah, normally with Vista, no longer problems with drivers, cause they all work in user level, no longer in kernel level, so they no longer can crash the system (NORMALLY!!!!)

Audigy is an exception. It doesn't follow Vista new HDA standard. This is why I no longer buy Creative cards.
