Is 3DMark 2000 good anymore for older cards? I have a GF2 Ultra and it's a DX7 card. It runs all of the test in that benchmark except one. In 3DMark2001 it can't run 5-6 and forget about 3DMark03.

What I'm trying to get at here is this: Is 3DMark2000 still good for judging my card's performance for stuff like OCing? Or is it too outdated to be worth anything?

its a dx7 level benchie hence for your card it would be a nice indicator still... :)

it's no better or worse an indicator than it ever was ;)

I just stopped using it regularly as an indicator about 5 months ago, but it's still an excellent tool for comparing your own system to itself in different configurations. :)

Only reason I like 3dmark2000 is because I love its Helicopter scene, I never get tired of looping that :)
