View Full Version : Which DVI connector to use when only using 1 monitor?

Does it matter which DVI connector to use when using only one monitor? I've got an 8800GTX that has 2 DVI ports.

Also, if doing SLI, does it matter which card the monitor is connected to? I'm assuming the one on the top.

Use the DVI connector that is closest to the motherboard, that is considered the primary.

In all honesty, it really doesn't matter, but if you are a perfectionist like me, than you use the primary for everything :D
